Think big with our LFP team

A small team that thinks big!

Kemtek’s Large Format Printing (LFP) team is all about impact – specifically, enabling companies to really stand out from the crowd by going large when it comes to visuals, signage and advertising. By increasing the scale of artwork without ever compromising on quality, they help enterprises get noticed.

As a team, they’ve also had a positive impact on our business with their professionalism and cheerfulness setting a standard we can all aspire to. And as individuals, they’re having an impact beyond Kemtek through their community work and passion for life. Let’s meet them.

Aziza Mahomed

Aziza has been with Kemtek since 2007, and in that time she’s worked in multiple roles. This has given her a holistic perspective on our operations, and an unrivalled network of contacts both within and outside Kemtek.

Originally joining Kemtek on the graphic arts side, Aziza built up invaluable experience in administration, costing and sales – experience which is proving especially useful in her current role. Along the way, she also found time to successfully complete her IMM qualifications and a Digital Marketing Diploma, as well as raising her kids singlehandedly.

As Kemtek evolved from an Epson reseller to a distributor, Aziza helped create our LFP division from scratch and has overseen year-on-year growth ever since. A real people person, she cites the support of Kemtek’s reps as a key reason behind this success. As the division has grown, the LFP team has been able to incorporate flatbed printers and Aristo cutting tables to broaden their solutions offering.

With lockdown restrictions gradually easing, Aziza is looking forward to being able to get out on the road again to meet with potential clients, and to being able to demonstrate the awesome capabilities of our LFP technology.

Aziza somehow finds time in all this to be a keen baker and to teach other women how to use their own baking skills to generate extra income for their families. She’s a ‘cupcake angel’ with the Cupcakes of Hope charity and a dedicated supporter of breast cancer awareness initiatives.

As a lady who has broken through more than one boundary in her career, Aziza lives by the maxim that no-one else should be allowed to determine your level of success – something that is clearly very true in her case.

Tshegofatso ‘Tshego’ Nyalungu

Tshego also joined Kemtek as soon as she had finished her studies – in this case, a diploma in logistics management at UJ. This led to a learnership placement at Kemtek in 2016, and saw her rotate amongst multiple departments, giving her a very sound footing in all areas of the business.

This included time in both the warehouse and the repairs team, meaning that she is perhaps one of the best-connected people in Kemtek when it comes to getting things done! As her learnership period ended, Tshego successfully applied for the role of Epson administrator in the LFP division, and she highlights this as the moment that her professional growth really began to accelerate.

A self-described gregarious adventurer, Tshego has a fearless approach to life. She loves the adrenaline rush of extreme sports, and is preparing for a bungee jump from Orlando’s famed cooling towers. She clearly has no fear of heights so it will be no surprise when she reaches a senior position within Kemtek.

Motivated by hope, faith and prayer, Tshego combines her full social life with being a mother and her role as the backbone of the LFP team

Njabulo Tshabalala

Njabulo is a ‘lifelong’ Kemtek team member, having joined us straight from high school. Now in his fifth year here, he spent the first three years working as a storeman in our warehouse whilst paying his way through weekend studies in sales and marketing.

When an opportunity arose in our ribbon slitting plant, Njabulo didn’t hesitate and his application was successful. He adopted the same approach earlier in 2021 when an exciting new chance in the LFP team became available.

He describes his time so far in the Large Format Printing division as being a period of non-stop learning and growth, both professional and personal. He’s energised by the opportunity to work with a diverse and interesting range of people, and can’t wait to ‘make the magic happen’ by demonstrating LFP technology to clients in the Kemtek Centre of Excellence.

Outside of his work, Njabulo’s two abiding passions are sport and music, and he can most often be found in either his friend’s music studio, or volunteering as an assistant coach with a local youth soccer team. He takes lessons from the pitch and applies them to his professional life – not least the fact that being part of a team gives him strength.

Now that you’ve met them, it’s time to start thinking big with our Large Format Printing Division.
