When purchased with the Violet inkset for pre-proofing, the Epson SC-P5000 can reproduce packaging, marketing material and corporate colours with 99% Pantone Solid Coated Colour accuracy. For pre-press proofing, using the Violet ink also ensures a perfect print match, providing superior output for colour-critical print jobs.
By specifying the Light Light Black ink model, photographers and fine artists can faithfully reproduce the sharpest details and brilliant colours of their original artwork perfectly. Thanks to a high optical ink density and additional black ink pigments, a smooth gradation of colour is delivered every time.
The SC-P5000 uses Epson’s latest ink technology to make stunningly accurate high resolution, long-lasting prints. Crisp, detailed results are ensured by the 3.5pl droplet size and 2880 x 1440 dpi resolution, while the Ultrachrome HDX inks offer greatly improved lightfastness and unfading quality.
To ensure long-term dependability, reliable day-to-day operation and to minimize maintenance, the SC-P5000 offers enhanced features including new covers and seals to minimize dust intrusion, an improved automatic nozzle and a guided cleaning procedure.
Thanks to an internal colour calibration sensor, simple media switching and a clear media handling guide on the display, setup and media handling couldn’t be easier. Fitting seamlessly into any workflow, the SC-P5000 can also be supplied with a SpectroProofer, which can handle automated proof checking, and is supported by all major RIP and software vendors.
