With the same cables, mounts and exterior plastics as the 3550HSi range, it is simple to integrate into existing installations. With its new electronics platform, it powers up from a single 5V USB connection, providing outstanding performance and easy connection to any POS system.
Features
The large field-of-view of the Datalogic Magellan 3510VSi provides excellent performance on hard-to-read bar codes and seamless reading of a wide variety of bar code types. It enables both sweep and presentation scanning techniques for maximum productivity and ergonomic ease, even of shortened, out-of-spec or poorly printed bar codes.
Retailers can easily engage customers in mobile commerce programs with the optional Customer Service Scanner (CSS), which allows them to scan bar codes from mobile phone screens or paper coupons while the cashier scans regular items in parallel. This results in significant reductions in total transaction times.
Remote Management is supported for OPOS, JavaPOS, Toshiba Remote Management with IBM Systems Director and Wavelink Avalanche. Additional capabilities are available with the Value Added Features included in every Magellan scanner.
With its advanced digital imaging, Magellan 3510VSi provides class-leading performance and reliability, with seamless 1D, 2D and Digimarc digital watermark reading. It has subtle, adaptive illumination for user comfort, and solid state electronics for silent operation. It also features image capture, micro SD card slot and multiple interfaces in every unit.
These include primarily point of sale, mobile marketing capabilities and age verification.
