Printing labels up to 108mm in width, and with direct thermal print technology, it meets the requirements of a wide range of vertical market applications. It also comes packed with an array of software apps as standard, including P-touch Editor, Mobile Deploy and Font Manager.

The Brother TD-4550DNWB delivers improved operational efficiency with easy to use, continuous high speed label printing. Combined with seamless integration and modular design, it can print from virtually anywhere in the workplace. Supporting a variety of print command languages, including ZPL II, emulation allows integration into existing legacy systems.
The TD-4550DNWB offers direct thermal high speed printing at up to 300dpi resolution. The process of direct thermal printing technology means that low cost, high volume labels can be created. Because it uses a heat-sensitive coating and thermal printhead, traditional printing ribbons and ink are not required.
The printer meets the requirements of a wide range of vertical market applications. Examples include medical and laboratory (admission, specimen & pathology, blood bag, laboratory, microbiology and dosing labels), warehousing and logistics (shipping, carton, location, pallet, quality control and compliance labels) and retail (pricing, bar code, pre-packed food ingredient, nutrition, shelf edge and sale/discount labels).
Supplied as standard, users can create their own custom labels with pixel precision by using this powerful software. Any label design can be created with features such as support for over 15 bar code protocols, high quality greyscale image printing and the ability to link to Excel spreadsheets data for batch label printing.
Users can choose the best options for their label printing needs. Brother Label Design Apps allow the TD range to easily integrate with their desktop PCs, mobile devices and SDKs. Printer drivers are available for Windows OS, while Software Development Kits are available for Windows Mobile, Android and iOS operating systems.
Aside from the P-touch Editor software app as mentioned, the TD-4550DNWB also comes with Mobile Deploy, Brother Font Manager, Printer Settings Tool and Crop Function (Windows Driver) apps as standard. Included are tools like Template Mode and Software Development Kits, free of charge.
