The QL-820NWB is the flagship model of Brother’s most advanced range of professional label printers, the QL-800 Series. This network thermal printer boasts a host of unique features and connectivity options including Wireless or Wired LAN network (Ethernet), Bluetooth, AirPrint and MFi, and USB. It offers unrivalled versatility, not only in the office, but also in retail, food, postal, facilities management and other industries.
Features
The Brother QL-820NWB’s connectivity options include Wireless (Wi-Fi) or Wired LAN network (Ethernet port), Bluetooth for simple connection to iOS and Android devices, AirPrint and MFi (Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad), and USB. It also has a WPS button to connect to available routers.
The QL-820NWB can be used as a standalone printer (no PC required) and can connect wirelessly to mobile devices such smartphones and tablets using its built-in Wi-Fi connection. Labels can be printed wirelessly via Airprint for Mac/iOS or the Brother iPrint & Label App, which allows users to choose one of the predefined templates or quickly design labels from scratch.
With the highest print speeds (110 labels per minute) and the most connectivity options in its class, the Brother QL-800NWB label printer is ideal for many types of businesses. Labels can be printed in black or red text, on a range of label sizes – traditional die-cut (pre-sized), and continuous roll, which can be trimmed thanks to the built-in cutter. The QL-820NWB allows selection and printing of labels from stored memory using its large LCD display and integrated control panel.
Users can choose their best labelling options due to a variety of apps for desktop PCs and mobile devices, as well as SDKs. The free Brother iPrint&Label app for iOS and Android devices allows printing via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The printer can automatically connect using FTP to remote servers where new templates can be found and automatically updated.
System integrators and developers can use various Brother SDKs that allow easy integration of label printing directly within their own apps and software. These are available for Windows, iOS and Android operating systems.
