Overview
The Brotech SMS series is specially designed for seaming PVC, PET, PE and other colour-printed shrink film material into roll-shaped packaging materials such as beverage labels. The seam is where the edges of the shrink material are glued together to make sleeves.
Features
The cantilever design of the Brotech SMS machine includes units for seaming, perforation, trimming, automatic width sensing, unwinding and rewinding.
The SMS machine features full servo control and an ultrasonic web guiding sensor. The seaming unit can accurately control the width of the material after seaming, so that the seaming width remains unchanged at any speed.
The amount of glue applied in the process is precisely controlled to avoid glue leakage and breakage. The SMS also features oscillating transversal movement rewinding, with winding closed-loop tension control.
The SMS is perfect for applications including food, beverage, healthcare, household goods, chemicals, and health & beauty applications.
