A compact, portable direct thermal printer, the SATO TH2 Series is designed for point-of-usage labelling applications. Featuring a built-in alpha-numeric keyboard, it can be used as a standalone printer with predefined formats or connected to a PC for variable labelling operations. It is ideal for general retail, as well as for food ingredient and food safety labelling. The TH2 is also compatible with SATO Linerless Labels.*
Features
Portable and lightweight, the TH2 printer can be used as a hand-held label printer, trolley-mounted or connected to a PC. Featuring a built-in top handle for easy portability, it is perfect for on-demand printing on the shop floor whenever required.
The TH2 features a large and adjustable LCD screen (128 x 64 pixel, 5 lines by 16 characters), an alpha-numeric keyboard, and a Real Time Calendar for date coded labelling.
The printer supports 2D bar code printing and features multiple interfaces: USB, LAN & WLAN. It can store 10 000 product records, with easy downloading of product databases to printer.
The TH2 further features an anti-microbial casing, integrated dispenser, linerless label support and easy media loading and maintenance.
SATO linerless labels offer a number of significant advantages for customers. They provide more labels per rolls than regular lined labels as well as playing a positive role in other business operations. These benefits include lower waste disposal costs (50% of the weight of standard label rolls is simply discarded), savings on labour and transport plus increased efficiency, all of which result in lower cost of ownership, while lowering carbon footprints.
