The Creality K1-SE is a DIY-friendly 3D printer that can be ready for use in just 3 minutes. In addition, it features a flagship-level extruder kit, quick-swap tri-metal nozzle, 600mm per second printing speed, hands-free auto-levelling, optimisation for less ringing, and is open-source for DIY fun.
Features
The Creality KI-SE is pre-assembled and pre-tuned before shipment. After unboxing, it is ready for plug-and-play. The boot-up guide is similar to that of a new smartphone.
The K1 SE’s extruder is equipped with a newly added side spring & ball plunger and feeds filaments precisely without slacking for vigorous extrusion in & out. Apart from regular filaments, it can also handle flexible TPU.
The durable steel-tipped copper nozzle is integrated with a titanium heatbreak for smooth feeding. It blocks heat-creep and can easily be swapped with one hand. The ceramic heater, encircling the hotend, can fully melt ABS and other filaments for ultra-fast printing
Helped by a G-sensor, it can detect the speed range prone to resonance vibration and cancel out resonance actively, so your printer will get rid of ringing and surface artifacts.
The weight of the part cooling fan on the printhead is dynamically balanced, so it is less likely to wobble, subduing vibration physically at the source.
K1-SE has a rigid frame with aluminium alloy parts made by integrated diecasting. It also features corner gussets and crossbeams on both sides to reinforce the frame, so it can operate steadily with minimal shaking.
