With versatile reader options including 1D and 2D bar code scanning, HF RFID capability and contactless NFC application, the CipherLab RS35 is supported by agile performance that can even read bar codes that are in poor condition. Its 3 modes of NFC (card emulation, card reader and peer to peer) make data reading effortless, with a switch button for UHF RFID reading for easy mode switching between specific tasks. The RS35 has an excellent high-speed reading rate of over 900 tags per second. Easily add UHF RFID reading capability by attaching RS35 to the RS35 UHF RFID reader.

The RS35’s rugged design provides maximum performance for worry-free workforce operation in harsh environments across a wide temperature range. IP65 and IP67 ratings ensure that it works perfectly in demanding rainy and dusty conditions, with 1.5m drop resistance, 1.8m drop resistance in rubber boot and 500 tumbles at 0.5m. The intuitive touchscreen is made from Corning Gorilla Glass, which is shatterproof with high resistance from sharp objects.

With its smartphone-like design, the RS35 allows users to feel instantly familiar with the device, which lessens learning time. The large 5.5-inch screen permits users to see information more clearly and avoid input errors, aided by an IPS LCD 720 x 1440 pixel display for high visibility indoors and out. The multi-touch panel supports wet and gloved fingers plus a stylus for use across varying environments and applications, all in a slim, lightweight design for easy carrying.

Delivering seamless in-store operation, the RS35 features one of the market’s most reliable transmission solutions in the form of IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/dh/i. These reliable connections support fast roaming and strengthen store operation in any industry, its VoLTE feature has noise reduction microphone and echo cancelling, and GPS/A-GPS delivers accurate navigation across boundaries.

Photos (13 megapixel) can be taken with the pistol grip on – the camera features autofocus with LED flash. The standard removable and rechargeable one-piece 4000 mAh battery delivers an impressive 12 hours of power for a full work shift. The hot-swap function allows the device to remain in operation during battery replacement, and the quick-release hand strap also saves replacement time.

Equipped with Android 10, Google Mobile Service (GSM) and Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) seal, the RS35 allows users to enjoy the full use of Google applications while IT staff can manage Android devices with ease. The Octa-core 1.8 GHz CPU has the power to handle any workload, while 3GB RAM/32GB ROM with option to expand affords plenty of room for applications and data storage.
