The innovative Brother ScanNCut SDX1200 is a totally standalone scanning and cutting machine that uniquely requires no connection to a PC and is perfect for both hobbyists and businesses. Its built-in scanner allows users to scan virtually anything from drawings and magazine clippings to photos and more, and then to edit and create their own designs as cut files. The machine automatically creates cut lines and can cut a variety of materials from thin fabrics, to felt, cork and foam.

Unique in the market, the ScanNCut SDX1200 is totally standalone – no PC or mobile device is required to operate it. It’s fully portable, so users can create and edit designs whenever they want and wherever they are – real on-the-go designing.
Designs can be created and edited on the bright 12,7cm LCD colour touchscreen. It’s easier than ever to edit, zoom and customize designs on this extra-large, non-glare screen, with no need for a PC or mobile device.
Virtually anything can be scanned on the 600dpi built-in scanner with its 12 x 24-inch scan area, from handmade drawings and magazine clippings, to cherished photos and more. Endless cut and draw designs can be saved to the ScanNCut SDX1200’s memory.
The fully automatic Auto Blade system does away with guesswork, saving time and making cutting effortless: the sensor automatically detects the correct cutting depth needed for the perfect cut. Manual adjustments can be made for even finer results. A wide variety of materials up to 3mm thick, from thin fabrics to felt, cork and foam, can be cut.
The ScanNCut SDX1200 is packed with 17 fonts and 1303 built-in designs, including 140 quilt and appliqué patterns. Users can choose for basic shapes, intricate designs, borders, quilt and appliqué patterns, fonts and much more.
The wireless connections allows users to send designs their free CanvasWorkspace account, so there is no need for cables, USB or Flash drives.
