Overview

The Brother Consumables: Pro Tapes range has been developed and stringently tested for professional use by electricians, network installers and more, in any environment where dependable, durable long term identification labelling is critical. Specifically designed for the P-touch range of label printers, Pro Tapes have excellent resistance to water, abrasion, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

Features

In independent laboratory tests, Brother Strong adhesive Tape maintained 3 times more strength on textured surfaces than standard tape. It is ideal for long term labelling even in the harshest conditions, especially on textured surfaces.

Because a protective overlaminate is applied to the whole label at the time of printing, the 24mm taped width can be wrapped around CAT5E and even thicker CAT6A network cables and still protect the text.

Specially developed for electricians, network infrastructure, panel builders and other industries requiring a reliable wire and cable identification solution, this tape can also be used to mark pipes or other smaller cylindrical shaped items where other tapes may peel over time.

This tape is perfect for creating labels that grab attention. The fluorescent orange or yellow tape is ideal for displaying important information, warning signs or categorising specialist equipment. It ensures that important items can quickly be identified in any emergency situation.

When printed and applied, the label appears the same as a standard black on white label. If, however, the label is removed, a checkerboard pattern is left to ensure the label cannot be reapplied once peeled, and to show that the label has been tampered with.

This non-adhesive tape is made of a similar material that is wound in the tape cassette as a flat tube. When printed on, the tube is opened up and passed over a cable or terminating connector. On heating with a heat gun, the tube shrinks to half its original width, and so grips the cable.

Brother Stencil Tape is used as part of an electrochemical etching process to produce a mask containing the information to be etched. When an electrical current is passed through a pad containing special etching fluid, and pressed onto the stencil tape, it leaves a permanent mark with the text or bar code on the metal.
