During 2017, Kemtek participated in several important industry events nationwide, building brand awareness and showcasing its impressive global brand portfolio and supporting services.
And what better way to finalise a hectic year than staging an exciting showcase at Propak Cape, held from October 24 to 27 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Recognised as offering a focused and specialised event programme, Propak Cape provides the ideal platform for industry experts to gather and gain information from specialist suppliers and partners in the packaging field.
And Kemtek didn’t disappoint visitors to the stand!
‘By showcasing our core Kemtek divisions – Print Solutions, 3D Print, Auto Identification and Labelling, we delivered our product range in a striking visual way that encouraged constructive engagement between our product specialists and industry players,’ comments Kemtek Marketing Manager, Karen Stretch. ‘Our cocktail event attracted existing and potential customers who could chat and mingle with the Kemtek team in a relaxed and informal environment. And, as a special treat, everyone received a special one-of-a-kind printed gift box filled with some ‘naughty’ and ‘nice’ treats. Each was specially labelled utilising HP Indigo Smartstream Mosaic digital software, allowing each print to be different despite being created from the same master file.’
Despite a consistently challenging economic landscape, feedback from Propak was overwhelmingly positive, providing the opportunity for the Kemtek team to gain new contacts and reconnect with existing channel partners and customers in the packaging sector.
Both Wendy McLoughlin (Business Development Manager for Kemtek Imaging Systems) and Riki Tzirin (Senior Account Manager, Indigo Packaging) also participated in the conference programme, presenting how brands are utilising digital print to gain higher returns on investment in a highly competitive market. ‘As a leading supplier to the packaging industry, we feel it is vitally important to bring industry up to date on worldwide developments and share knowledge with each other,’ adds Karen Stretch.
Kemtek will be kicking off the New Year with a Kemtek Digital Open House at the end of January, plus an Auto ID reseller Roadshow in February – visiting seven cities nationwide.
